In November we had the great pleasure to participate in the African Spectral Imaging Network (AFSIN) workshop in Kpalimé, Togo. The topic of the workshop was on "Clinical Translation of Optical Instrumentation" where we had the opportunity to bring some of our instruments with us for not only educational purposes, but do some interesting experiments. During the 10 day workshop we engaged with students and scientists from the 10 member countries and had the honour to be visited by the deputy minister of higher education in Togo, which was featured in the Togo national news.
