Josefine Bunke has successfully defended her PhD

On Friday October 11th, Josefine Bunke successfully defended her doctoral thesis with the title "Novel Bioimaging Techniques using Spectral Information for Monitoring Oxygen Saturation - Evaluated in Human Models of Skin Hypoperfusion".

The defense was held at the Medical Faculty in Lund with faculty opponent, examination committee members, supervisors and audience present in the auditorium.

The dissertation act began with an introduction to the subject by the faculty opponent Professor Richard C. Allen, M.D., Ph.D., from University of Texas at Austin, USA and presentation of the thesis by Josefine Bunke. The introduction was followed by a  deep and interesting discussion between Josefine and Professor Richard C. Allen after which the examination committee members asked their questions.

After consideration of by the examination committee, it was announced that Josefine had successfully defended her PhD and she was awarded the PhD title.
